Genesis 5 New Revised Standard Version (NRSV) With thanks to BibleGateway.com
forgiveness or foregiveness includes necessarily 'décrispation' (i can witness to that), the Classic Greek meaning of 'pardon' Don't fix your eye on every thing awrong around you, brothers, 'enfants de la terre'. Courage: _For you must live, that is your mission, 'jouw opdracht'. And enough 'humility' to face hard truths about ourselves, not just the Bosnians, the Serbs, the Croatians, the Slovenians, And all those other 'bull' worshippers. That is all of ùs
And so it happened that in the early 1990's some truly dreadful things happened in the Serbia Croatian Bosniak areas of our old continent, that girls were raped in a war-like mode and in an "organised" way, pregnant mothers were slit open by men. The photo is my own from an exhibit at the Islam and Europe Exhibition in Brussels, which is an artistic expression of things between these two old "enemies." Unfortunately, to me, it might have been better to also have set a European and Islam literature setting to it, alongside the artistic visual arts approach, boarded by artifacts from more recent history than the older opposition

9 These are the descendants of Noah. Noah was a righteous man, blameless in his generation; Noah walked with God. 10 And Noah had three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
Genesis 6 New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)
The Wickedness of Humankind
11 Now the earth was corrupt in God’s sight, and the earth was filled with violence. 12 And God saw that the earth was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted its ways upon the earth. 13 And God said to Noah, “I have determined to make an end of all flesh, for the earth is filled with violence because of them; now I am going to destroy them along with the earth. 14 Make yourself an ark of cypress[b] wood; make rooms in the ark, and cover it inside and out with pitch. 15 This is how you are to make it: the length of the ark three hundred cubits, its width fifty cubits, and its height thirty cubits. 16 Make a roof[c] for the ark, and finish it to a cubit above; and put the door of the ark in its side; make it with lower, second, and third decks. 17 For my part, I am going to bring a flood of waters on the earth, to destroy from under heaven all flesh in which is the breath of life; everything that is on the earth shall die. 18 But I will establish my covenant with you; and you shall come into the ark, you, your sons, your wife, and your sons’ wives with you. 19 And of every living thing, of all flesh, you shall bring two of every kind into the ark, to keep them alive with you; they shall be male and female. Now this Lamech ... is "a different piece of work": New Revised Standard Version (NRSV) Genesis 4
Beginnings of Civilization
17 Cain knew his wife, and she conceived and bore Enoch; and he built a city, and named it Enoch after his son Enoch. 18 To Enoch was born Irad; and Irad was the father of Mehujael, and Mehujael the father of Methushael, and Methushael the father of Lamech. 19 Lamech took two wives; the name of the one was Adah, and the name of the other Zillah. 20 Adah bore Jabal; he was the ancestor of those who live in tents and have livestock. 21 His brother’s name was Jubal; he was the ancestor of all those who play the lyre and pipe. 22 Zillah bore Tubal-cain, who made all kinds of bronze and iron tools. The sister of Tubal-cain was Naamah.
23 Lamech said to his wives:
“Adah and Zillah, hear my voice;
you wives of Lamech, listen to what I say:
I have killed a man for wounding me,
a young man for striking me.
24 If Cain is avenged sevenfold,
truly Lamech seventy-sevenfold.”
Why all this and now. That i don't know. But i read this article this morning which i share here https://plus.google.com/u/0/+HarrydeBoom/posts/4tdQgE4etpH
